VR Objects - Visual Design Decision: Black Background or White Background?

Visual Design: To answer the question, consider the web page's background colour and the colour (or brightness) of the object. A black or white background will provide the contrast required to make any object stand out. Coloured (yellow, blue, etc.) backgrounds are possible of course, but may influence or clash with the object's colour. Black and white, because they are not really colours (technically), also provide a neutral environment in case the web page itself does not.
Object: This is a plastic imitation of a classic greek or roman sculpture.
Details: Both animations consist of 24 images (15° increments).
